What: Housing and Homelessness Advocacy Day 2011, a joint effort of the Washington Low Income Housing Alliance, the Washington State Coalition for the Homeless, and many sponsoring agencies, including Building Changes.

Why: State budget cuts threaten critical services designed to help families struggling to find work, stay housed, and care for their sick family members. Now more than ever, affordable housing and homelessness advocates have to call for an honest discussion about what our communities need and how best to meet those needs. Join hundreds of advocates to remind lawmakers that "Every Heart Needs a Home." Together we can make our voices heard!
