2011 Funding Opportunity for Washington Families Fund High-Needs Projects

June 29, 2011 -- Building Changes is pleased to announce up to $1.9 million for High-Needs Family projects available through the Washington Families Fund 2011 funding cycle. The objective of the Washington Families Fund High-Needs Family Service Model is to provide intensive wrap-around services for families that have multiple barriers that make it difficult to stay housed and employed. With the current resources available, the Fund will be able to support three to five projects with an approximate total of 50 units.

How to Apply in King County

Eligible organizations in King County that wish to apply for this round of WFF funding must submit applications through the 2011 Combined Funding RFP process. The King County 2011 RFP for Combined Operating Support, Rental Assistance and Supportive Services Funding is expected to be released on August 17, 2011. Applications are due to King County on September 23, 2011.

How to Apply Outside of King County

Eligible organizations outside of King County that wish to apply for this round of WFF funding are asked to complete the 2011 Letter of Interest (LOI) Response Form and Program Budget Form and submit them to Building Changes by July 22, 2011. Selected organizations will then be invited to submit a full application for funding due to Building Changes in September. Organizations will be notified of funding awards in December 2011.
