After nearly 24 years, founder Betsy Lieberman is stepping down as Executive Director of Building Changes. In celebration of Betsy’s many contributions in the quest to end homelessness, her friends and colleagues have initiated the Innovations Campaign. With you, we aim to raise $1 million in flexible funding to catalyze and expand Building Changes’ groundbreaking work.

Over the next three years, funds from the Innovations Campaign will keep Building Changes ahead of the curve, advancing smart solutions and cutting-edge ideas to end homelessness across Washington State.

• We’ll strengthen employment programs around the state, so more Washingtonians can support themselves and their families.
• We’ll advocate for legislation and funding to reduce and prevent homelessness, working with allies to provide a voice in Olympia.
• We’ll lead an effort to transform the ways communities across Washington State respond to homelessness.
